This Week:

We discovered extinct animals by being paleontologists. They made observations about their fossils and wrote them in a  journal. They also learned about the landforms that their animals were discovered in.

We read Valentine stories and answered who? what? where? and when? questions about the stories.


In math, we learned new strategies to subtract double digits numbers. Using a number line and splitting the tens and ones, are some of the strategies we learned.

Next week:

We will be learning about different presidents. We will be find the learning lots of details about characters and the plots of stories. In math we will be learning about geometry.  We will build shapes and add and subtract with them.
